It's hard to believe we've been here for 6 days. Both Jim and I were wiped out after all the excitement and stimulation yesterday.
We woke up this morning (actually, Jim woke up and I wanted to sleep longer but I finally got up after Jim kept saying in a whiny voice, "Come on."
We went out and fed the ducks for a while then drove to get breakfast. We stopped at a place called The Good Egg. The food was alright and not bad pricewise.
Jim is at the morning worship service then he's off to bible study. I've opted to skip those since I'll be in business meetings all day. Normally I wouldn't attend but I am the lay delegate for the church because the real lay delegate could not attend. The board approved me to be the alternate this time. So I have to vote on anything that requires a vote. I familiarized myself with the info yesterday so hopefully I'll be ready.
It's a wonderful 90 degrees in Scottsdale at 9:11 am.
