beginning the week

Hello,

Well it's back to work tonight after having last night off. The super bowl is over and things are back to normal (whatever that is).

Ridiculous item of the day: An 8-year-old in Connecticut is trying to set a new record for the Guinness Book. He received a Brett Favre jersey for Christmas in 2003 and has been wearing it every single day since then. The shirt, sadly, has not been holding up well for the past 408 days. The #4 has become very worn and the boy has been growing so the seams are stretching. Bob Harlan, President of the Packers, says, "Just another typical diehard cheesehead. I hear from them all the time." Thankfully, his parents do have limits. They don't let the boy wear the shirt to church but he puts it on as soon as he returns home. I can't even imagine what the shirt must smell like. No word on whether it has been washed or not. My guess would be 'no.' Ahhhhh, kids these days.

That's all for now. More soon.
