tube and drawers

Hello,

Here it is a Tuesday morning and the wind is still a bit ferocious. Not as bad as yesterday, however, when I thought the house was going to blow in. It's still wet and gray too.

tube talk: Jim and I really like the show Desperate Housewives. We finally got to see Sunday's episode. How clever of them to use Lynette's bratty children (those children are evil) to move the plot forward. After the kids go on a thieving binge, Lynette finds their stash. Among the stolen items is the bracelet Mrs. Huber was wearing when she died. It was stolen from hunky handy man Mike's garage. Of course Susan finds out and finally begins to realize her hot handy man is not who he seems at all. And Felicia, Mrs. Huber's sharp sister, sees a picture of Mary Alice in the Young household and recognizes her as Angela. If you are a fan, like we are, you'll remember the housewives heard a tape of Mary Alice in a session with her psychiatrist and she identified herself as Angela. And who the heck was that old guy who shot Mike? I was really hoping that Brie's husband would come out as gay (I did hear a rumor that her son would come out so I guess that's ok). And where the heck was Edie? One more thing; I'm getting so tired of Gabriella's prissiness. She needs a huge wake up call.

ridiculous item of the day: If you live in Virginia, or know someone who does, you/they can continue wearing low-slung jeans that show your undergarments. The "droopy drawers" bill was approved in the lower house but rejected in the upper house. If it had passed, people would have been fined $50 for exposing their private nethergarments. Civil rights groups said it would "violate constitutional rights and be applied in a discriminatory way towards blacks." Even though that may be true, I've seen a number of whites who are just as guilty for giving us all a look see. That's all for now. More later.

peace,

paul
