the "gay" report

Here it is February 1, my birthday, and it is still cold. Tomorrow is Groundhog Day and he/she will inevitably see his/her shadow. Duh!!!!

Yesterday the Michael Jackson trial started and it is predicted to last about 6mos. Last year it was the Scott Peterson trial, this year Jackson's. How does a singer, such as Jackson, go from #1 hit after #1 hit to a guy who looks like a porcelain doll (and not a pretty one) who can't get a break? It's very sad.

In the Helllllloooooooooo moment of the week, Richard Hatch, no not the actor the first Survivor winner, failed to declare the money he won on Survivor. Hatch was notorious for walking around in the buff on the island and proved to be cunning, smart, and sharp. He did win. Well he wasn't smart this time. Now he's facing jail time (where he would no doubt have more chances to disrobe.......oooooohhhhh).

One more thing: Who cares if SpongeBob SquarePants is gay or not? He's a cartoon character not a real person. As if there aren't much more important things in our world to be concerned about, people have to create an uproar over a cartoon who may be promoting a GLBT lifestyle.
